Bulgaria-Vietnam Business Forum on the topic: "Business Opportunities between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam," September 25, 2023, Sofia

From September 24 to 26, 2023, a Vietnamese delegation will visit Bulgaria. It is led by Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and is composed of over 20 representatives from the government, companies from various sectors of the Vietnamese economy, local business organizations, and more.

Vietnam is a stable and predictable economic partner for Bulgaria in Southeast Asia, which has shown accelerated economic development in recent years. The new Vietnamese economic strategy outlines the following priority areas for reform: innovation development, improving economic efficiency, urbanization and territorial development, promoting environmentally sustainable development, and building efficient modern state institutions.

In 2022, imports from Vietnam amounted to 179.83 million BGN and included flat-rolled products, raw aluminum, coffee, vehicle parts, rubber pneumatic tires, and more.

During the visit of Vietnamese business representatives on September 25, 2023, in Sofia, the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EA SME), in partnership with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) and the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Bulgaria, will organize the Bulgaria-Vietnam Business Forum with bilateral meetings between business representatives from both countries.

The event will provide an opportunity for companies from various sectors of the Bulgarian and Vietnamese economies to meet potential new partners and establish direct contacts for mutually beneficial cooperation. The business sector will be informed about current achievements, challenges, and potential solutions facing companies in the contemporary dynamic economic environment. The main goal of the event is to develop and deepen the economic stability of enterprises and create favorable conditions for profitable deals and partnerships.
